Dear Willie, you were the first country singer I ever listened to and I always will love hearing you sing. I have been able to see you perform twice in my life so far. Once in Tahoe, Nevada and just recently in Laughlin, Nevada. You are amazing and you are so sincere and when you sing the words to your songs or any song they come out so real and believable. You are a legend and no one can ever replace you. You are the one singer and artist and song writer that when you come on the radio the second you start to sing you know its Willie. Thank you for the amazing songs you have written and sang and thank you for giving us everything you have even up to this day. Happy Birthday coming up soon. You are the real thing for sure. Love and Respect always for you from me Marlene

If there was any performer I’d like to meet it would be willie. Would love to sit down at a campfire and do a little pickin with him and just bullshit. 15. Great interview with Larry King. Willie if you’re ever on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, i’d love to sit down with you and drink a couple of cold ones and talk a while. That would make my life complete. I grew up on a farm and have been a volunteer firefighter for 37 years. Love what you do and what you stand for.

Great interview. I enjoyed. Willie is the top of country music. There is no one I like better. It’s true he is sexy. I think that at even 80 he looks great. The braids look good, but I prefer his beautiful, shiny hair loose.

    Keep going Willie!

Love you Willie! What a great interview. I have been one of those hand clappers out there since the 70’s. One of my life long dreams would be to meet you and have a chat. My six year old son 20 years ago, setting on my shoulders watching you front row Cheyenne frontier days took my hat off and threw it up to you on stage. You wore that hat for a couple songs and when you threw it back out to the crowd you made sure he caught it and put it back on my head. I lost Zach 10 years ago and I remember how happy you made him and I that night in Cheyenne. I would love to thank you in person and meet you one time. I am 52 years old and you have been a part of my life always. Thank you for your music, your songs and your legacy! I started an African foundation several years ago in Zach’s memory and travel to Africa once a year to help children living in poverty there. Love you Willie! Keep on keeping on! I hope it is in the grand plan for me to some day meet you. Peace!

  20. Willie you look great ! So do you Larry. That was a very good interview. Maybe some day I will get to see Willie Nelson & Family live. That would be AWESOME !

  21. I met Willie many years ago on Maui in a small tavern in Wailuku…He ended up in the hospital and I tried to visit every day. Years later I worked for Northern Stage Company in Anchorage, AK and was able to enjoy this incredible songwriter and guitar player from side stage. He must have felt my loving vibe as he tossed me his red bandana. I still have, and treasure, that keepsake today. What a gift to the world this legend has become. How blessed was I to have been a part of just a few brief moments in time. Thank you Willie for sharing your life in song. Thank you for touching so many hearts along the way. God Bless

  22. What a great interview! Willie, you rule… Give Trigger a couple of picks for me and my buds, willya? Wishing you the best of health, always…

Thanks! Best interview I’ve seen with Willie Nelson. I’m one of himself best fans. You’re a great interviewer, Mr. King and, by the way, both of you seem very frisky for being octogenarians.

  28. Great interview …Love you willie

  29. Willie (and Larry) just too honest and modest. Willie you will always be on mind and the movie I loved the best was Barbarosa.

  30. Willie too honest….refreshing and modest. And, for your movies my favorite Barbarosa

Conway Twitty loves the honky tonks
    Where the painted women dance
Tom T Hall loves the children
And the critters large and small
    But I love Willie Nelson
    Cause Willie Loves em all

  36. Happy Birthday, youngund. Played a couple sets in your honor last night for your 81st. all willie tunes. my favorite was “red headed stranger”. cheers, jon g

  37. Willie,

The Dub speakin’… again. I remember getting through to the Larry King Show with a question during one of his episodes a few years ago. That was a real treat for me. I told him before I asked the question that if it were not for Larry King Live, I would not have cable t.v. The English Royalty on the show seemed to get a laugh out of that. Even though I still have cable t.v., he is sorely missed. Nine o’clock Eastern Time comes around and I find myself surfing the tube, trying to find somethin’ decent to watch. Might as well read a few chapters of ‘It’s a Long Story…’. Good job, Willie… .

  38. Willie is the best, wish I could meet him.
