Today we remember Dan “Bee Man” Spears. It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we lost him.

Today take a few moment to remember Bee Man, in your own personal way.

Many friends and family have begun sharing stories at the Dan “Bee” Spears – Power of the Flame Facebook Page.

  1. He made the world a much better place by his music and being. It doesn’t get much better than that.

  6. Can’t forget Bee flying in a ‘peter pan rig’ at Caesar’s Palace upstage of Willie who was singing ” Angel Flying Too Close”. When was that? Mid 1980’s if I recall.

  7. Bee’s caring personality and loving spirit will remain with me forever a he was such a talented and nice man an a friend. II was ale to watch him mature from when he fist joined Willie’s family into a fine gentleman who was always kind and courteous to others. He is truly missed!

  8. Bee was my uncle…well, a brother-in-law to my uncle. None the less, he was Uncle Bee to me. I am eternally grateful to this man who always reached out with a kind word and friendship, not only to me but to everyone he met. He once helped me setup a benefit concert at Sundance. Willie & Family played …and it was simple the most memorable night of my life. I’ve been on plenty of tours, but nothing was like that night under the stars. Big thanks to Willie (and all who made that night spectacular – especially dear ol’ Poodie)..and most of all to Uncle Bee for giving me that night.
